Systems Advisory Services
Making 50 years of critical infrastructure expertise feel anything but dated.
Background
Systems Advisory Services has been supporting New Zealand businesses with critical IT infrastructure for over fifty years. When they partnered with Likely Suspects for a complete rebrand, the goal was clear: a digital presence that reflects their deep expertise and longevity while differentiating them from larger international players.
Format Digital’s role was making the brand digital – taking the visual identity Likely Suspects created and translating it into web design, UX, site architecture, and a fully-realised Webflow build. It was a close, iterative collaboration throughout.
From Brand to Browser
Likely Suspects crafted a distinctive visual identity anchored by a rich forest green palette and custom typography that nods to SAS IT’s heritage without feeling dated. The challenge was carrying that retro-informed aesthetic into a digital context – preserving the subtle textures and typographic personality while ensuring everything worked at screen resolution and across devices.
The result is a site that feels considered and confident. Custom animations bring energy to the experience without overwhelming the content, and the design gives SAS IT’s fifty-year track record the visual weight it deserves.
Built for flexibility
The site is built in Webflow with fully editable page content, giving the SAS IT team control over their messaging as their business evolves. The Insights section houses their growing library of case studies, with related content surfaced to keep visitors exploring.
For their Hybrid Cloud offerings, we integrated custom React components – a Cloud Assessment Calculator and Compliance Checklist – using Webflow’s DevSync feature. These tools add genuine utility for visitors evaluating their infrastructure needs, moving beyond the typical “contact us for a quote” approach.
“Thrilled with the look and feel”

Local expertise, proudly positioned
A key differentiator for SAS IT is their New Zealand ownership and locally-based support – something they’re rightfully proud of. This positioning is woven throughout the site’s messaging and hierarchy, reinforcing that enterprise-grade infrastructure expertise doesn’t have to come from offshore.
