Privacy

Format Digital Ltd (“Format Digital”) is a small studio at 153 Waltham Road, Waltham, Christchurch 8023, Canterbury, Aotearoa New Zealand. This page explains what we collect when you contact us, and how we use it. We follow the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What we collect

The enquiry form on this site asks for your name, email address, and message. We do not ask for payment details or extra personal data through the site.

How we use it

We use that information to reply to your enquiry and, if we work together, to keep a record of the conversation. We do not sell it, and we do not use it for marketing lists.

Who sees it

Form submissions are delivered to us through Basin, a form hosting service. Glen and Rupert at Format can read them. We do not share them with anyone else unless we have to by law.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as they are useful to the conversation or a resulting project, then delete them from our inboxes and Basin when they are no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email Format Digital or call +64 21 211 0659. If you are not satisfied with how we handle a request, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

This website

The site is hosted on Vercel. It may log standard technical data such as IP address and browser type for security and performance. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies to identify you.
